Mr. Richards, since November 2015, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Kingston Properties Limited, a Jamaica Stock Exchange Main Market listed, multi-jurisdictional real estate investment company. His career spans over 25 years of experience in the areas of media, investment management and real estate. He is a former head of Jamaica’s National Insurance Fund (NIF), a multi-billion dollar government controlled pension scheme and has held senior executive positions with leading investment houses in Jamaica.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Economics from the University of the West Indies, Mona; a Master’s Degree in Economics from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, Canada; certificates from the Canadian Securities Institute as well as the Wharton Executive Education Program and he is also a licensed real estate agent in Jamaica. He currently chairs the board of Petrojam Ethanol Limited and sits on several other boards including MoneyMasters Limited, Dunrobin Primary School and Today’s Money Limited. He enjoys travelling, listening to music and watching basketball and tennis.
